Somatic Sound Journeys

Blending somatic movement with sound is an immersive journey for your body, mind, and energy. Jules has created a completely unique experience, unlike traditional sound baths, by opening with somatic movement. When beginning with sound alone it can be difficult to fully relax, quiet the mind, and surrender into the present moment. By starting instead with intentional, mindful movement we bring awareness into the body, releasing tension, and creating a grounded sense of presence. This prepares you to receive the sound journey more fully and naturally.

Research shows that somatic movement supports relaxation, reduces stress hormones, and improves emotional regulation. Body-based awareness practices also release chronic muscular tension and stored emotional stress, helping the body move with greater ease and freedom. This somatic foundation allows the body and mind to respond more deeply to vibrational therapy.

As the movement settles, sound vibrations help quiet the mind, encourage balanced brainwave activity, and support the release of stagnant energy. During the sound journey, Jules works intuitively with a range of sound medicine instruments including Tibetan and crystal bowls, monochord, chimes, drums, and voice, selecting instruments based on the energy and needs of the group.

You will leave feeling relaxed, emotionally lighter, and more connected to your body and inner rhythm. By combining movement with sound, the experience supports a profound sense of calm, clarity, and energetic harmony.
